Maximilian Draxler has been with hylane since the beginning. He played a key role in building up the company and, since 2022, has been responsible as Head of Finance for designing the usage-based rental model, procuring zero-emission vehicles for the steadily growing fleet, and developing efficient controlling and financial processes. Since 2024, he has also served as Managing Director of the Dutch subsidiary hylane Netherlands B.V., where he successfully oversaw the company’s market entry and played a pivotal role in shaping the international expansion of the business model. In his new role, he will continue to lead the finance division while additionally taking on responsibility for Legal Affairs and Internationalization.

The decision to expand the management board reflects hylane’s dynamic development. Demand for zero-emission commercial vehicles is rising steadily – not only in Germany but also in neighboring European markets. In this continuously growing market, hylane has established itself as an innovative provider offering customers simple and low-risk pathways to decarbonize their fleets.

About Maximilian Draxler
The graduate in business mathematics was responsible for alternative investments in the investment department of DEVK Versicherungen, hylane's parent company. Prior to that, he gained extensive expertise in infrastructure investments and private equity through positions at various asset managers. Since 2024, Draxler has also represented hylane on the advisory board of Green Hydrogen Technology, a young company developing a patented solution for producing hydrogen from non-recyclable waste. Maximilian Draxler lives in Cologne.
